Who would have known that Orangutans would have a reason to start loving Beethoven? When you think about it, it’s really not that surprising as we are so closely related to them, and we humans all love a bit of Beethovan don’t we? Multi-award winning musicians Katie Stillman (violin) and Simon Lane (piano) are performing Tuesday 14th Feb at BEETHOVEN FOR ORANGUTANS at the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, Oxford’s most intimate music venue.

All proceeds go to the Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) a conservation organisation set up to help the critically endangered Sumatran Oragutan. SOS is dedicated to turning this situation around through a combination of rainforest restoration, community-led conservation, education and campaigning (www.orangutans-sos.org).
